Google Roll-out Sweet Update To Android Nougat, Android 7.1.1, See what’s inside

Few weeks ago, Android rollout a new version Android 7.0 Nougat which has bring more features to the way users interact with their phones. Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL are already enjoying this new features while some other Android device are also rocking the new features of Android.

As usual habits of Android, they always work to enhance the functionality of their product by fixing bugs, adding new features and improving other technical issues. That's why Google is set to rollout new version of Nougat 7.1.1. According to Google blog, This update will be delivered to a number of devices starting today and rolling over the next several weeks.

So, What are changes which Android Nougat 7.1.1 going to feature? Well, its seems the changes are not much but below are the things we know that Android Nougat 7.1.1 going to feature.

App Shortcut
Google is adding App shortcut to the latest version of Android. Perhaps this feature seems to be one of the biggest change in the way Android works. Each time a user long-presses an icon on their home screen, a list of actions will appear. Some apps allow shortcuts to pages within their collection of pages, some allow very little (for now).

New Emoji
Google as added another set of Emoji to the latest android version. These new emoji include gender counterparts for profession-based icons of all sorts – skin tones galore, too.

Send GIF's directly from your keyboard
Google believes that one of the ways which someone can express his or her feelings much better is using GIF's. that's why Android Nougat 7.1.1 comes with a feature that GIF's can be use to send messages with Google Allo, Google Messenger, and Hangouts. GIFs – animated GIFs  directly from your keyboard, the keyboard which now allows GIF searching with keywords as well. We’ll keep our fingers crossed for additional GIF integration. 

Users with any of several Nexus smartphones or tablets from the past couple of generations will see this update soon. That includes the Nexus 6, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, and Nexus 9. Also included will be the Pixel, the Pixel XL, Nexus Player, Pixel C, and the General Mobile 4G (with Android One). These updates will be delivered in an OTA (over the air) update within the next couple of weeks.
