Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus coming on February 26, Shipment to begin on March 16
Samsung has already confirmed that their next flagship phone Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ would be unveiled at MWC 2018. According to Evan Blass, the company will be officially launching the phone on February 28.
According to a C-level executive at a major casemaker, the go-to-market schedule for Galaxy S9 / S9+ is as follows:
Launch – 2/26
Pre-orders – 3/1
Ships/releases – 3/16

Samsung has decided to revert back to it 2016 release frames as against the 2017’s release frame which saw Galaxy S8 released globally a month after it was launched.
The new flagship is to come with Exynos 9810 chipset, stereo speakers and the dual camera for the S9+ version. Galaxy S9 will have only one 12 MP camera, but it will come with a variable aperture that switches between f/1.5 and f/2.4.
