SanDisk showcase the world smallest USB-C flash drive with 1TB memory capacity
At the ongoing Consumer Electronic Show (CES 2018) in Las Vegas, Sandisk, an Israeli-American manufacturer of flash memory products, introduced a new USB flash drive with 1TB storage, which you can call pen drive. The company claims that it is the world’s smallest USB C Flash drive with 1TB memory.
This is a prototype and its type is USB-C. The advantage of this is that smartphones with USB Type C are now launching and you can put it directly on the mobile. There will be no need for any OTG connector for this. However, Kingstown also launched Data Traveler Ultimate GT of 2TB. Although this was a common pen drive that could not directly connect to a smartphone with a USB Type C.
Since Sandisk’s smallest and more memory flash drive is a prototype, its price is not revealed but rumor suggests that it will be around $ 350 (N129,600). No words on when the device will be available.
